Republican Liberty Caucus
State Charter Guidelines

Per the bylaws of the Republican Liberty Caucus, the National Committee shall charter affiliates in the states and territories of the United States of America. An affiliate of the Republican Liberty Caucus shall be bound by such rules the National Committee deems needful. No affiliate shall be chartered with fewer than 10 (ten) members in that state or territory.

The National Committee of the Republican Liberty Caucus reserves the sole right to grant or revoke charters for state chapters under the guidelines and criteria it establishes. In addition, in any dispute with the Republican Liberty Caucus and an affiliate Republican Liberty Caucus, the decision of the National Committee is final.

All applications for state chapter recognition are subject to a majority vote of approval by the National Committee, and are also subject to revocation at any time and for any reason by a majority vote of the National Committee.

Recognized state chapters may elect to establish their own chartering guidelines for local or municipal chapters, subject to any requirements of the National Committee. In states without a recognized state Republican Liberty Caucus chapter, the National committee, at its sole discretion and by majority vote, may elect to grant a provisional local or municipal chapter until such time as a full state chapter has been authorized and chartered.

The present requirements, subject to change, modification or alteration by the national Committee at any time, include the following:

1.) An organizational Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer named.
2.) Written membership and/or dues requirements.
3.) Written provisions for regular elections of officers at least once every two years.

In addition, petitioners for a state charter must provide a brief description of the following for consideration by members of the National Committee:

A.) What do you intend to be the membership and/or dues requirements for your chapter?
B.) When will elections be held and by what means (convention, mail, Internet, etc.)?
C.) Why do you want to start a Republican Liberty Caucus chapter in your state and what do you hope to what accomplish?
D.) What experience or background do the petitioners bring that will enhance the chapters chance for success?
E.) What are your plans for funding your activities?

Applications for a state/local Republican Liberty Caucus chapter should be mailed to:
